While the Emerging Technology Fund legislation created the West Texas Center for Innovation and Commercialization, our mission spans a variety of issues and opportunities.

The WTCIC works collaboratively to support innovation through the identification and support of viable projects throughout the region.

It is important to our mission that WTCIC find those projects that:

• Have a demonstrable economic benefit to the State
• Guarantee of commercialization or manufacturing in Texas
• Act in the best interest of the State of Texas
• Are collaborative
• Have a bias for action
• Are open to the outcome
