The application process for a Subchapter D commercialization award through the West Texas Coalition for Innovation and Commercialization is a multi-phased process.
- Contact the WTCIC at 806-745-3973 and set up an initial meeting
- Complete the pre-evaluation form and submit it to the WTCIC
- Complete the necessary ETF application forms and submit by 5 PM on the quarterly deadline date
- All forms will be evaluated by the WTCIC screening committee
- Present to the WTCIC
- Prepare due diligence information
- Applications being submitted to the Life Science Board will have additional screening
- Life science deals presented to the Life Science Board in Austin
- All approved deals present to the State sub-committee in Austin
- Full state committee reviews and approves deals
- ETF office performs due diligences
- Approval by leadership
- Contract negotiations & milestones
- Funding – Tranche One
- Milestones met – Funding Tranche Two
