NEW! The following is a reference checklist that should be followed when submitting deals to the Emerging Technology Fund. This checklist outlines the criteria that the Governor's Office will use when vetting deals.

West Texas Coalition for Innovation and Commercialization
is headquartered in
Lubbock
and serves an 83 county region in West
Texas
. Economic development organizations from Abilene,
Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, and San Angelo,
in partnership with the rural economic development entities
in the region, collaborate in support of the WTCIC.
The
16 Member WTCIC
committee - composed of West
Texas entrepreneurs, investors and business
people - reviews regional project applications and selects
those with the best chance of receiving state funding.
Approved regional projects are then submitted to the
Governor's Advisory Committee for Emerging Technology
for final approval.
